Who can join the Third Room Community?
Membership is open to founders, COOs, Chiefs of Staff, SVP/VP/Heads of Operations, and those aspiring to operational leadership roles within the startup and scaleup ecosystem.
Is the community free to join?
The open Slack community is free for approved members. Access to advisory, coaching,peer-to-peer cohorts, and events is by application or paid subscription, depending on the service.
How can I join the Third Room Community?

How are the Third Room Cohorts or coaching groups formed?
Each cohort is curated to ensure relevance, diversity of experience, and shared scaling challenges — typically 6–8 operators from comparable growth stages or roles.

What kind of businesses do you work with?
Third Room is focused on startup and scaleup business. We currently work with businesses from pre-seed to Series D+. Investors and VCs refer their portfolio companies to Third Room.
How is Third Room different from a generic recruiter, consultant or coach?
We’re operators first. Our work is hands-on, practical, and built from experience in the roles we support — not theoretical frameworks or transactional placements. All Third Room placements get the offer of ongoing coaching for their probation period to maximise the probability of success.
Do you work with teams outside of ANZ?
Yes. While our roots are in Australia and New Zealand, we also work with global teams with a connection to the ANZ ecosystem.
Can you customise services for our team?
Yes. Every engagement is tailored to your stage of growth, operational maturity, and leadership structure.
Do you work with investors or VC firms?
Yes. We collaborate with investors who want to strengthen their portfolio operators, improve leadership alignment, or refine hiring and performance practices. VCs provide a significantnumber of introductions to founders for the Third Room.
